Enter your best deployment photos in the Welcome Home Celebration Photo Contest! Winning photos will be displayed at the May 16th event and also on the event website. To enter check out the contest guidelines and instructions below
The Welcome Home Celebration Photo Competition is open to any veteran that served in the armed forces as well as current active duty service members.
Photos must be submitted online through the Welcome Home Celebration website and each file submitted must be saved as a Jpeg (.jpg) and not exceed 4 MB. Photo must have been taken during deployment, and be appropriate for viewing in a family environment, at the Welcome Home Celebration--or the entry may be disqualified. Up to 4 entries may be submitted per entrant. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 25.
Winning photos will be recognized on May 16th, at the Welcome Home Celebration, with 1st, 2nd, 3rd place ribbons, and several Honorable Mentions. Each will be framed and displayed in the Military Displays tent and other top submissions will be available for digital viewing. Winning photos will also be posted on the Welcome Home Celebration web site after June 1, 2008. Winning photographers will not be notified prior to the event. You need not be present to win.
No signature, stamp or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry.
Winning images will be framed and displayed in the event's Military Display tent. Other top submissions will be projected (PPT) on a screen. We request that subject matter of each submission be suitable for display in a family environment. Also, the veteran, by submitting a photo, would be releasing the image for possible future use or display by the VAMC and/or the Thank You Foundation.
Copyright and all other rights remain that of the photographer. Any photograph used The Thank You Foundation shall carry the photographer's credit line. All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by The Thank You Foundation for marketing and promotional purposes including print and digital.
Judging will be conducted by Cincinnati Welcome Home Event Committee and a guest photographer.

I understand that this photo will be published on the Internet as my original work. I understand that my submission will be reviewed before it is accepted for the contest.
